This year I have had pretty good luck being in the right place at the right time. The international tango competition in Buenos Aires, new years eve in Sydney, Songkran in Bangkok, and now La Fête Nationale (Bastille Day) in Paris. Cambodia has a very intense history but the people there are very friendly. We went to stay with a friends family in Phetchaburi province for the week of Songkran and it was really nice. We visited the Cha Am and Hua Hin beaches as well as the three palaces: Maruekhathaiyawan beach side palace, hilltop Khao Wang, and European style [...] Where am I now? Singapore!! Why? Because I can! Really though, I got a cheap ticket. It was zero dollars before tax. I never thought I’d be in Singapore but now that I am here I am learning a lot of astounding facts. For example, Singapore is an island city of six million people [...] Now we are in Sydney. Saw the harbor with the opera house and the bridge. Today we have a lunch cruise in the rain. Did some Boxing Day shopping yesterday. Tomorrow we should be heading to the Blue Mountains for a few days. [...] I am current wandering around Northern Argentina.
