One of the great things about California is the Mexican food (or maybe I should call it Mexicali or Calmex food). I never realized how much I loved it until I wasn’t able to get it for a year. This particular burrito features a delicious California avocado and fresh tomatoes from my dad’s garden. After [...] I love black berries. They grow without any supervision and they taste delicious. These particular blackberries are from my friends house and I turned them into a pie. I made the filling with not much more than blackberries, ginger, and some sugar. My mom made the crumble topping, and we both collaborated on the crust. [...] If you ever wondered what I am eating now that I am living in Germany, here is the answer: Croissant with white chocolate and hazelnut spread (from the Netherlands). And for the drink: hot white chocolate. Yum. Today I attended May Kaidee’s vegetarian cooking school in Bangkok with my parents today and it was a lot of fun. The “visit to the vegetable market” was not so spectacular because it consisted of visiting one guy with a vegetable cart. The cooking was great though because we made about 10 different Thai classics [...] Argentina is probably best known for its beef, but here you can also find some of the best pizzas in the world. I like eating pizza at restaurants, but I also like to cook at home sometimes. There are a lot of pre-made crusts in the supermarkets so I bought one and threw on some [...] There is a tiny pizza place on my block that makes the best pizza I have ever had. There is something different about the cheese here that makes it taste really good on pizza. After a month and a half in Buenos Aires, my girlfriend found peanut butter for me. This is love. The peanut butter was found at Lotos, a vegetarian and natural food store located on Av. Cordoba 1577. They also had coconut milk that we promptly turned into a delicious coconut curry dinner. Eight different scotches from six different distillers were thrown into the ring to fight for the scotch championship title. Tasting started with an elimination round for the Glenfiddichs.
